WHAT IS THE BEST AGE FOR A NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT?

So you’d like to book a newborn photo shoot but have no idea how long that ‘newborn’ stage lasts exactly?! 

Photographers have different thoughts about how long a baby is considered a newborn. Some say until 28 days, and others say up to three months old. Your paediatrician probably will say that the infant stage is three months. So when is the best time to take professional photos of your beautiful baby?!

Newborn babies are one of the most precious things on the planet. We all want to remember how small they are when they are born. Yet, this time passes so quickly. These little hands and feet grow faster than you might think, wrinkled skin becomes smooth after a few days, and their skin reminds me of silk. They smell so wonderful... oh, best smell ever and are so small that they fit in our hands.

Babies grow so fast, I know, but for me, the most important thing is how you and your baby feel. I want you to be ready for it. With my kind of photography, there is no rush. I can photograph babies at any age because I am not posing them. We can meet in the first 48 hours ( FRESH 48 Gallery) of your baby's life, or it can wait till your baby is more settled. My sessions are slow and stress-free.

Quick note !!! If you’re looking for POSED newborn photography* for your newborn photo shoot, the ideal age is up to 12 days and rarely older.
