Photo editing
All images are individually edited in my unique style. I take huge pride in my work and will only give you beautifully edited, finished photographs that look their very best. For that reason the RAW, unedited images are not available for purchase.
Travel to location
I am more than happy to travel to your home or your favourite location. If the location of the shoot is farther than 15 miles of the postcode EH14 please add an additional £0.50p/mile to your session fee.
Payment options
You may pay via cash, bank transfer or Paypal. A deposit of £100 is due on the day of the booking to secure your date and current prices. The outstanding balance must be paid on the day of the session.
Session planning
I primarily work from Monday to Friday. However, I'm happy to accommodate special requests for Saturday and Sunday sessions. Please note that there is an additional fee for weekend appointments.

Where are you based and do you travel?

How far in advance do I have to book a session with you?
Always try to plan ahead to avoid disappointment.
WHERE WILL MY SESSION BE HELD ?
During the pre-shoot consultation, we will discuss the ideal location for your shoot. This can be a country park, a beach, a field, woodlands or somewhere else that is special to you and your family. Remember the weather may force us to change our location choice on the day.
While most of the newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home, some parents decide to take their newborn baby to the garden or to a nearby park, I'm open to any idea.
CAN I CHOOSE TWO LOCATIONS FOR MY PHOTO SHOOT?
Yes, absolutely.
If you cannot decide on one location, you can choose two locations*.
Many families choose to start their sessions in the comfort of their home, then relocate to their favourite outdoor location.
*Please add £ 100 to the session fee if the second location is more than a 10-minute drive away.
Is my home suitable for the photo session?
Your house is perfect for a photoshoot. I do not need much, just one window to make your pictures perfect.
WHAT IS THE BEST AGE FOR A NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT?
Babies grow so fast, I know, but for me, the most important thing is how you and your baby feel. I want you to be ready for it. With my kind of photography, there is no rush really. I can photograph babies at any age because I am not posing them.
We can meet in the first 48 hours ( FRESH 48) of your baby life or it can wait till your baby is more settled.
What is “ Fresh 48” session ?
Fresh 48 Photography is a special session for those new families who want the first few hours of their baby’s life captured. It is held within the first 48 hours of your baby’s life; these lifestyle sessions are perfect for remembering that first day FOREVER.
The Fresh 48 session take place when you ready and feeling good after your birth, during daylight hours. I like to be there as quickly after the birth as possible, so the sooner, the better. The session takes place at the hospital or birth centre and will last approximately 60-90 minutes.
HOW TO BOOK PHOTOSESSION WITH DOROTA?
When you're ready to book, please email me with the type of session you'd like to book and the date you have in mind.
I will ask you to pay a £100 deposit to secure your date. You may pay via bank transfer or PayPal. I will provide an invoice to your email address.
