Summer photoshoot | Tyninghame Beach is one of my favourites

Beach family pictures are a wonderful way of creating memories as a whole family at a beautiful and relaxing location. Photoshoot at the beach can be a lot of fun. There’s something about the sea that brings peace of mind to humans. Something unspoken, something magical.

Scottish summer is beautiful but also unpredictable. One day you feel like on a real vacation as Scottish beaches are one of the most beautiful, the next you wonder where summer has gone. If there's one thing that you can be sure about when discussing Scottish weather, it's that rain is going to play a big part. It is not easy to plan but as you can see bellow it is possible ;)

As the old Scottish saying goes, 'there's no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes!'

With this wonderful family we went to one of my favourite beaches, Tyninghame Beach , which is only 45 minutes from Edinburgh city center by car.

There are several reasons why I love this place so much.

This beach is so large that even on the sunniest day you will not feel crowded (which sounds great for family photo shoots) .
The sand is golden and the water is clear and turquoise.
The car park is no far from the beach. 10-15 minutes walk so even small children can make this distance.
It is very close to forest. It is so beautiful that it's almost magical. A wonderful background for a family photo. We can have the joy of both.
