I'm really excited to share with you one of my recent maternity photoshoots in one of my favourite spots - Red Moss of Balerno.
I met this lovely mum to be on a beautiful frosty December morning, the sun was low and the cold air chilled everything around.
Sridevi and her husband are expecting a baby girl in a few weeks, so they wanted to capture this magical time to help them remember how wonderful it is to wait for such a miracle.
Update: their baby girl was born a few days ago. Congratulations to the whole family❤️❤️❤️.

This is a beautiful part of the Pentland Hills near Balerno. Excellent walking area with stunning views over the hills. Red Moss of Balerno is a wonderful quiet place perfect for maternity and family photography.
When to have a Maternity Shoot
I always recommend 34-36 weeks as the best time for a maternity shoot. Your beautiful bump will be well and truly showing, but with less risk of missing out due to an early arrival! Click here for more advice on when to book a Maternity Photographer in Edinburgh.
