NEWBORN session in the comfort of your home or on location


Today I would like to invite you to read information about a lifestyle newborn photo session, i.e. a home session, outdoor session. Who is it for, and when is it best to do it? When you book a lifestyle newborn session with me, I will make sure it will be a very relaxed, pleasant experience. You will only do what you love best, touch, kiss and cuddle your newborn baby. We do not have to stick to the first 2 weeks of your babies life, which are dedicated to a studio session so that the baby sleeps soundly and is susceptible to laying in baskets or sweet embryonic poses. A home session can be done at any time when you are ready for it yourself.

NEWBORN SESSION IN COMFORT OF YOUR HOME

A newborn session at home is more of a family session, where the baby is very close to his parents. There is no typical posing here. The whole rhythm of the session is dictated by what you do daily. But yes, I will guide you a bit on where and how to position yourself in a better light, although it is often a bedroom and a living room or a child's room if it is ready.


I met this beautiful family when their baby girl was only 6 weeks old. They were absolutely amazing and I had a wonderful time photographing this precious family time. Lots of smiles, cuddles, yawns and even more emotions.

If you cannot decide on one location, you can choose two locations*.

Many families choose to start their sessions in the comfort of their home, then relocate to their favourite outdoor location.

*Both locations cannot be further apart than 15 minutes by car. Please add £ 100 to the session fee.

OUTDOOR NEWBORN SESSION | BLACKFORD HILL, EDINBURGH 


What started as a newborn home session ended on the beautiful Balackfort Hill with amazing views over Edinburgh. More and more often I go outside to take pictures of such little babies and in this case, it was also a perfect decision. 

We did it partly because we wanted to take pictures in nature and this family loves the hill and the views of the beautiful city. This place also has a lot of sentimental meaning for them, lots of beautiful memories. I really enjoyed meeting this sweet family and we had a great time hanging out together.
