I believe that choosing a photographer is a personal experience, so thank you for considering me.

Professional quality photography isn’t a luxury it’s a necessity. It’s often the very first thing a prospective client or customer sees about your business. I am here to ensure your business makes the right first impression.

Photo editing

All images are individually edited in my unique style. I take huge pride in my work and will only give you beautifully edited, finished photographs that look their very best. For that reason the RAW, unedited images are not available for purchase.


Travel to location

I am more than happy to travel to your home or your favourite location. If the location of the shoot is farther than 15 miles of the postcode EH14 please add an additional £0.50p/mile to your session fee.

Payment options

You may pay via cash, bank transfer or Paypal. A deposit of £100 is due on the day of the booking to secure your date and current prices. The outstanding balance must be paid on the day of the session.


Session planning

I primarily work from Monday to Friday. However, I'm happy to accommodate special requests for Saturday and Sunday sessions. Please note that there is an additional fee for weekend appointments.

Terms and conditions

WHERE ARE YOU BASED AND DO YOU TRAVEL?

I'm Edinburgh based in UK and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee. If the location of the shoot is farther than 15 miles of the postcode EH14 please add an additional £0.50p/mile to your session fee.

What I Need From You

Please provide the location of the shoot (with an exact postcode), a proposed date, and a brief containing as much background information as possible on what you want me to photograph.

Weather

I monitor the weather forecast 5 days in advance of any shoot. If the signs are not good I will contact you 48 hours before the shoot.

At this point, we will reschedule the shoot to the next suitable date at no additional cost and the booking deposit is transferred to the new date. Weather in Scotland is unpredictable so we have to be as flexible as possible to ensure that bookings can be rearranged.

If the shoot cannot be rescheduled due to factors out of our control (live events, client availability), I do not offer a refund of the initial deposit.

If we both decide to stay with the original date and we have bad weather, I will wait on-site as long as possible in the hope of a break in the weather.

HOW LONG MUST WE WAIT FOR THE GALLERY TO BE READY? HOW WILL IT BE DELIVERED?

Within 2 weeks from your session, a private gallery will be available to view. I will choose the best images for your gallery. I look carefully at each and every image I capture at your session and hand-select the best images.

I guarantee a minimum of 50-80 images, but there are usually many more. Your gallery will be active for 6 months.

WILL MY PHOTOS BE POSTED ONLINE?

I will share selected images from our session on my website and social media platforms. However, you can rest assured that I prioritize your preferences and privacy. Before any photos are shared online, I will share them with you for review and approval. Additionally, I understand the importance of allowing time to cultivate your photos privately. Therefore, I will not share any images for at least two weeks after you receive the whole gallery.

HOW TO BOOK PHOTO-SESSION WITH DOROTA?

When you're ready to book, please email me with the type of session you'd like to book and the date you have in mind.
I will ask you to pay a £100 deposit to secure your date. You may pay via bank transfer or PayPal. I will provide an invoice to your email address.
Deposit is required on the day of the booking to hold your date. The session fee is non-refundable
